No one is bigger than bread! – folk saying. The bread of Dospat is a documentary film about the livelihood of the population of Dospat municipality in the 70s, 80-those years of 20 -you century. In the movie, more interesting, documentary, starting, are presented, the development of the main industries in the municipality. The transition from manual to mechanized farming and the start of new industrial production in the renovated knitwear factory – Katya Vancheva, Optical electron, Factory for woodworking machines (ZDM) Dospat and the farm for breeding trout and fishing built on the waters of Dospat dam.
With the development of these industries and the increase in the demand for labor, contributes to the constant increase in the population of Dospat Municipality. Population growth, contributes to the development of education, the city's economy and culture, and old customs help preserve traditions. After the changes from 90 – those years, some of these industries are disappearing, some of the enterprises are liquidated, others privatized and the population gradually decreased and consolidated into closed communities supporting various feudal lords. Dospat's bread changes with time, but the Rhodope traditions, customs and love for the mountain remain.
